I think it would be really great if you could print name tags on demand for all event participants when they check in.  Once they check in, they could pay for the event and we can print their name tag right then and there.  In my opinion, this is a no-brainer.  Events need name tags.  This option would organize everything and make the check in process much more efficient.  Using a label writer such as a Dymo label printer would be perfect!  This way participants (pre-registered or not) could check in, pay, and get their name tag before going into the event.  No pre-printing name tags, no searching through piles to find the right name, and no ugly sharpie name tags!
