Neither "Requests No Email" nor NetCommunity tab keep track of when a constituent unsubscribes from email. Since we want to know when someone unsubscribes (as well as after which blast), I set up an attribute to track the unsubscribe date. Once we process the BBNC unsubscribe transactions, we run a global change that adds the attribute, and the date. With the current global change setup, I have to open the criteria, and change the date manually. Since we do this process every day, we have to change the date every day. If the global change process had the option to use "Today" for any of the date fields, this would save us keystrokes, time, and aggravation.
Ooops, please disregard my comment...I was referring to Query.
If you are able, please update to include one year ago, one month ago, one week ago... those would be so helpful when we are running magazine subscription lists and the eligibility is for those who donated between one year ago and today.
In other places in RE - like default sets - you can use F5 to enter the system date. Does this not work in global changes?
That's a great tip, Melissa - thank you! Sadly, does not work in global change. The global change interface is a little different: http://my.jetscreenshot.com/13037/20130131-ferv-21kb
F3 works, to insert today's date, but F5 does not do anything.
I just looked at the date field in Default Sets, and it does look similar to Global Change date field. F5 is listed as an option for current system date in default sets. If the same coding could be applied to global change date fields, there would be several happy people here.
