Search only one group of records (Organizations OR individuals)
Ability to view group-specific search results. When I search a name, to select to search organizations only, or individuals only.

First not sure why you need them separated. Is there really that much overlap between last name and name of organization?
If I'm looking for Fred Smith, I like having results populate with org that Fred Smith is the primary contact for. I can open org record and create a record for Fred and not end up with a record for Fred not linked to Fred's company/foundation etc.
use key indicator - it's as simple as that
