I need to be able to query an attribute when it exists both on some primary records and some spouse records and be able to end up with one list at the end of the process by running only ONE query.
Having to run a constituent query and then a relationship query doesn't work. I can't merge them. I can't use a relationship query in the gift detail and summary report.
Here's an example: I have committee members for our tennis tournament, and some are primary records, and some are spouse records. I shouldn't put the committe attribute on just the primary record because that's wrong, and would pull the wrong name for letters, etc.
Perhaps this could be a function of the query list?
Heather - are your spouse records full constituent records or non-constituent records
