We have 20 centers (each with about 3 - 4 users per center) that need to access RE for tracking donor actions and MD prospects. Our staff is split 50/50 between windows and Mac, and the only consistent factor is that Google acts as our intranet. This is a must if we are to really use RE to its full capacity.
All, Is it possible to create a work around here for Google Apps? We too use Google Apps for our email and calendar and I would love to have our team link RE and the calendar functions in RE. Does anyone know if it is possible to do a three way link where RE is linked to Outlook and Outlook is linked to Google Apps? It seems like this would work but is it too convoluted? Thanks.
We would also like to see this functionality implemented as it's not really practical to buy copies of office just so we can use Outlook for RE reports and links. More and more schools are moving to cloud based email solutions and running email apps on computer will soon be a thing of the past. Please don't allow this to turn into another Office XP Web components situation where we end up dependent on decade old software due to lack of updates for Raisers Edge!
We use Google and its Google Docs system for virtually everything and lack of RE integration is holding us back. If my team and I are going to continue using this system, integration with AT LEAST the calendar section of Google is critical. Please address immediately!
Yes, PLEASE integrate with Google. We are an independent school and we use Google Apps for Education. The calendar and email functionality are my biggest priority but integrating with Google Docs, etc. would also be very helpful. In the meantime, please STOP the email link to Microsoft Outlook. It is very frustrating when I go to grab and copy an email address from RE and get the prompt to configure Outlook.
This would be wonderful! Google Apps is the calendaring and email system for our campus.
Yes! Many non-profits are moving to Gmail and other non-exchange-server email domains. Please consider it.
