Often I am given all kinds of crazy criteria....they want these, but not those, etc. Even thow I build the best that I can, I am always having to edit the list in Excel to remove those who shouldn't be in the mailing.
It would be nice to have a check box in the query that would allow us to check the ones that you want to export. Like when mailing merging in Word from an Excel list.
If the "exclude" list has a pattern, you can create a second query, just for those you want to exclude, and use "Merge Queries" tool with "SUB" operator, to exclude the constituents in the 2nd query from the 1st query. You can also use "Specific Record" field in the 2nd query to specify specific constituents to exclude.
I like the idea, but as an immediate fix you can always add "specific record" "not one of" and then add the people you want to exclude.
This is time consuming with large lists.
