Currently, it is possible to enter a gift for a deceased or inactive record through batch gift entry. I'd like to able to turn that off in our system.
A new person just added a large gift, through batch, onto the old name of the company in our system, and the process right now of deleting and/or adjusting to zero means that I'll lose the batch number when I enter it individually into the new name record.
Heather, have you considered adding a business rule that will give user a pop-up at least when they enter the name of a record in batch that is marked as deceased or inactive?
Ditto Joann -- we use a business rule. You can also have users uncheck the box that displays deceased and inactive results when searching.
Although I agree that some user preferences would be nice.
