Extend our 50 character maximum

We would like to have the ability to extend our 50 character maximum to 75 characters on our journal reference line when posting from Raiser’s Edge reports to Financial Edge batches. By doing so we will have more room to enter payment detail to the journal reference lines without having to type in the detail manually.

    I suggest extending the field to a much larger size and suggest including other separators besides <space> and <hyphen>. The <pipe> "|" separator would be a nice addition. This field is an information link between FE & RE and can provide an audit trial if the field is large enough to hold the needed data.
