Rather than having to deactivate the drop-down filter before making the addition/deletion.

If you filter on an attribute category on the attributes tab, RE reverts to "View Only" and does not allow for edits to the attribute you are filtering regardless of your security rights. It would be nice to filter on an attribute and be able to change and SAVE it. It allows for a change but will not save. Doesn't even prompt you to save when you move to the next record using the navigation arrows. This was confirmed by Blackbaud support today in a chat and there is no record of this being a "flaw" in the system.
