Allow 'Add Renewal Schedule Information' Plugin to update existing Renewal Schedules
The 'Add Renewal Schedule Information' plug-in is useful to add renewal schedules to Membership linked recurring gifts, to allow automatic renewal of Memberships. However, it is limited to only update Membership linked recurring gifts that do not already have any Renewal Schedule Information; if there is already information, it will not be overwritten. This means that if Membership prices increase, the renewal schedule will renew using the prevous dues, an issue identified in KB article BB709656.
I would propose the Plug-In being updated to allow you to overwrite existing values or allow the fields it upated to become available through import.

I have the same issue. I have 5000+ membership renewals paid by recurring gift, so it is not feasible to update all these membership renewal schedule dues manually. It should be possible to update this field through a global change. In an ideal scenario, the field could be linked to membership dues when it is first created.
We are in a position of increasing our membership fee. We have thousands of memberships paid by Direct Debit, and this means we will need to amend each membership renewal schedule manually.
The above proposal gets our vote.
I have a similar issue. It is apparently not possible to update the membership dues field on the membership renewal schedule through any sort of global change or import. This means that when memberships are renewed via a direct debit batch after a subscription increase, the Dues field on the membership itself gets set back to the old rate. Any letters which then use that field to inform members of their subscription amount have incorrect information in them. I therefore have thousands of manual updates to do.
