If Direct Debit is cancelled with the bank we put the import cancellation codes into actions and run an action letter to say that the bank has cancelled their Direct Debit. Unfortunately if someone has literally paid an annual subscription and the membership won't expire for another 12 months we can't get the export field for the action letter to give the membership expiry date so that our members know that the membership still has XX months to run and won't cease immediately (as this could cause offence if they read it that their subscription has stopped i.e. the bank has cancelled your membership subscription payment and your membership will expire on DDMMMYY. Otherwise the bank has cancelled your membership subscription sounds like they there will be no quarterly magazine etc.. This is made more unfortunate when the bank cancels in error and the member can get upset if they have just paid for an entire year and still have many months of membership to run. With a high volume it is tricky to personalise THIS EXPIRY FIELD WOULD SOLVE EVERYTHING!
