According to BB Knowledgebase, "the total amount column on the Event tab of a constituent record shows the amount of the registration fee units purchased for the event. This amount does not include any donations made to this event. The amount paid column shows the amount paid on the Registration Fees tab of the event."
From what I can tell, the Total Amount column does not show any amount at all. I can see the Registration fee total under the Amount Paid column, but only $0.00 under Total Amount for every Event participant.
If "the amount paid column shows the amount paid on the Registration Fees tab of the event," why can't the Total Amount column show the amount paid on the Donations tab of the event?
Yes, this would be helpful to see the gift amount of a "Donation given through an event. When opening the constituent record and clicking on the event tab the amount paid column show 0.00 which is deceiving. The addition of a "gift amount" column downloaded from the constituent gift record for the donation would be great.
