I have tested the RE 7.92 DeDupe feature and I was told that BB will not be making some of the changes my end-users want. We plan to develop a custom solution so that we can streamline the dedupe process.

It would be great to hear confirmation, again, that BB is not going to develop something that would meet our needs without customization.

I do not understand this suggestion. Arent these suggestions FOR blackbaud. Why is there a suggestion for someone (me?) to work with blackbaud? Shouldnt it be for BB to work more with users?

Raiser's Edge 7.92 has a really bad duplicate report as opposed to previous versions. I do not know what the thinking was when this new report was created. First you are no longer able to customize the duplicate report, 2nd the report can take a very long time and third the results have way too many records that are not even remotely duplicates. Considering this is an important tool, this needs fixed ASAP.

Agree w/ 10/23/12 post wholeheartedly - the ability to set the duplicate search criteria as in earlier version of RE is sorely missed. Logged on in the hope that this important feature had been restored, but no luck. Not being able to set criteria results in a ridiculously long report. It's overwhelming and not at all useful.
